Would you Like To Help?

Cavy Corner Guinea Sanctuary is growing every month and in order to ensure we can continue to do the best for the animals we care for we now need to raise funds regularly. We do not receive any grants or support from the state or the RSPCA.

We have a small but dedicated band of volunteers who help with the regular duties of cage cleaning and practical animal care but also need volunteers with other skills and abilities too.
Perhaps you would like to help us in an advisory capacity or with publicity? Donate a prize or sell raffle tickets? Or offer a donation of vegetables, financial support or sponsorship of a rescued guinea?
Maybe you would be willing to help us at events or even temporarily foster a piggie or two when necessary?
Do you perhaps have knowledge or expertise that we would benefit from?  Or have ideas on what we should do to generate funds?
Could you save fresh vegetable trimmings for the guineas?
Do you simply love guinea pigs and want to get involved in some way?

We know that our Volunteers make this organisation and success is down to the hard work and loyalty of these special people. So would you like to be a part of Cavy Corner?

Our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds. We have Duke of Edinburgh candidates, students and young school children,  professional workers, housewives and retired people. Volunteers have varying availability and commit to what suits them.

Why Volunteer?
You can gain skills, work experience, references, make new friends, build confidence and help the animals in the process.
We are currently particularly interested in finding a suitable adult Volunteer with daytime availability to assist at Pets As Therapy Visits
to residential homes.
Send us an email with your contact details or phone us for an informal chat.
